BULLYING, Lets Take a Stand!

Alex Libby's 6th grade year was HORRIBLE people complain all the time how they don’t like school and don’t want to go just because but when this boy said it, it was his silent cry for help because he needed it. Alex needed a superhero like figure to pull him back up when he was push down and frankly he didn't have one.

 "People don’t want to be around me. I am not normal. Most kids don’t want to be around me. I feel like I belong somewhere else," Alex said. Alex's bullying started at a bus stop for an middle school in Iowa. Alex had been strangled, threatened , called fish face , had his face pushed up against the seat and all of this was not even shared with his parents. Alex took the torture and the torment every day till one day in middle school Alex had an assembly about making movies and sat there alone during the assembly, the film maker came up to him and asked what was wronged Alex explained what had been happening, the director had been thinking and told him that they were going to make a film about what he was going through. The film maker used a little camera called the fly on the wall because nobody knew it was there. The maker of the film had shown his parents the videos for Alex's safety. And they switched schools for the safety of Alex.   

 

 

                          The Results and the Happiness

Alex is now getting hugs in the hallway at his school.  He said in an interview that " and who had the best hair. And I did not have the best hair." that quote Alex can now change to. " And I am know one of the kids with the best hair" because that is now true, Alex changed his style wearing close that he think are in style and his hair in a Mohawk. Alex is now one of the popular kids , but that doesn’t mean that he walks around with his nose in the air no, Alex helps thoughts who are bullied now. Alex made an origination called "stand up for the silent" (link below) Alex made an organization to help raise money for thoughts who are bullied. Alex's school decided to contribute by making the HQ right there in school, he has some friends help him run it give him some new ideas on what to do. Alex is now a lot happier to go to school and is not afraid of bullies because he knows that somebody has his back and they will pull him up if he falls, or stand up for him.
